The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory occupies a rare walled site at the edge of a Bath conservation quarter. The building responds to its neighbours in material and proportion, while the interior geometry belongs firmly to the present day.

Each of the six homes is oriented to catch morning light through deep-set casement windows. Interiors are finished in lime plaster, seasoned oak and honed limestone — chosen for how they wear, rather than how they photograph.
